Chef Matt Basile is adding his most exciting title yet to his repertoire as a food entrepreneur: Co-Founder and Creative Firestarter for Alchemy Grills. After over a decade disrupting the food industry by creating Toronto’s most recognizable food truck brand, Fidel Gastro’s, then Bar Lisa Marie, a Queen West gastro-pub and brunch hotspot and also hosting the reality TV Show Rebel Without a Kitchen, Matt is combining his talents as a chef, content creator and expert with live-fire cooking to disrupt the barbecuing and live-fire cooking landscape as we know it. Over the last year and a half, Matt, along with two seasoned entrepreneurs have been cooking up something big behind the scenes and now they’re ready to launch Alchemy Grills.
